CEO's Message to Our Partners and Customers Regarding COVID-19

These are far more than words at Overland-Tandberg. As a historic crisis enveloped the world, we quickly established our priorities and developed action plans. Recognizing risks and identifying contingency plans, we were able to keep stakeholders informed. Even in crisis, we’ve been data driven so as to effectively assess and manage the global business landscape and dynamically pivot and grow during this unprecedented pandemic.
This year, the pandemic has tested us in ways we could have never anticipated. As a global company with extensive and deep-seated partnerships, Overland-Tandberg has been able to create and distribute life-saving resources through a valuable network during this pandemic. Our employees, committed to serving communities most severely impacted, have proudly risen to the occasion for those in need during these challenging times.
Communities around the world have suffered and continue to suffer. To fight COVID-19 and bring safety to communities, Overland-Tandberg has partnered with AT&T, OT Global Protection, National CARES Mentoring Movement and 10 CARES Affiliates, in creating the impactful initiative, Bridging 2 Communities to distribute desperately-needed pandemic-protective gear in the hardest hit communities globally.
Bridging 2 Communities’ mission is simple but powerful – to unify and service underserved and underrepresented communities. Over the course of several weeks we are delivering more than 100,000 bottles of hand sanitizer, more than 100,000 masks and gloves to major cities: Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area (Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose), Seattle and Washington, D.C., Mumbai, Bangalor, Chennai, Gurgaon and Hyderabad, India, continuing this endeavor as needed.
In an effort to provide simple and convenient access to healthcare services, we have also partnered with Lookout Health Corporation, an approved provider, to distribute the vaccine with their mobile van. Providing state-of-the art mobile sites for vaccinations has been invaluable to so many.
We continue broadening our overall business capabilities and philanthropy that align with our mission and values, facilitating a vision of growth and success. This is critical during this ever-evolving business landscape. All of our worldwide locations continue operations as we’ve used our advanced-analytics technology to improve the way we address unforeseen monumental challenges, utilizing our fully integrated global supply chain to be resilient in meeting new circumstances and demands, creating long-term value.
